Decking

The size and shape of decking for a vinyl pool is limited only by yard and budget size. Almost all pools should include a minimum of 4 feet of decking on the pool sides and 6 to 8 feet on the ends. Brown's offers an impressive array of decking and coping styles from which to choose.

Brushed:

Standard gray concrete mix textured with a uniform brushed finish; includes white PVC expansion joints.

Colored:

Tinting dye is added to the poured concrete mix to offer a variety of earth-tone shades. These decks are often saw-cut once cured to give the deck an added pattern design.

Stamped:

While the poured concrete is still wet, additional color is added with a rock or brick textured stamp, giving the finished deck the look of a natural surface, but with greater durability.

Flagstone:

Flat stone and mortar creates a beautiful natural deck surface. Stone can be added as a border or accent or used for the entire deck surface.

Pavers:

Premanufactured deck pavestones are laid to create the pool deck surface.

Regardless of the type of decking chosen, the coping (where the decking meets the pool wall) will be one of these three types: Standard aluminum coping, Cantilevered concrete coping, or Flagston border coping.
