This picture timeline shows the installation process for an 18' by 34' oval Doughboy aboveground pool with a flat bottom and E-Z Clip liner. The installation process begins by measuring and marking the area where the pool will be installed.

First, all of the turf must be scraped off and removed.

The crew installs bead receiver and stabilizer rails as the wall is unrolled.

The wall seam joiner is installed to complete the wall setup.

Before the liner installation, the sand floor is re-smoothed and packed.

Sand is banked slightly to the pool wall to form a cove to support the liner.

An E-Z Clip liner mounts in the receiver and filling of the pool begins.

Next, the top rails of the pool structure are installed.

Precise cuts must be made in the new pool liner to install the skimmer and return assemblies.

Plumbing lines are run from the skimmer to the equipment pad- most pools have one skimmer and return.

Final connections are made and the new filter system is ready to operate.
